This six-month course teaches Pangasinan language and literature, the works of Pablo Mejia, Maria Magsano, Juan Villamil, Catalino Palisoc among others. The purpose is to arm the student to conduct research and write on Pangasinan language and literature and later publish it in a refereed journal or as a book.

This six-month course imparts politics with focus on Pangasinan. Its objective is to study Pangasinan politics and write a publishable article or a book on Pangasinan politics.
